Lucky to Have You

The loving side of Loki is kind of like a unicorn. It's rumored to exist, but only a select few will ever actually see it.

Well, I couldn't revisit Loki's design without doing the same for Hermes (although it was Scarlet who gave me the idea). And, of course, I couldn't draw Hermes without drawing Loki with him because that's how OTPs work. So now I present to you Lokemes the way they were always meant to look together: gorgeous.

Unfortunately, this is a couple I feel like I still have yet to do justice. And it didn't help that I was having a particularly bad anatomy day when I lineart-ed this, so I apologize for that.

Part of the reason this pairing is so beautiful is that each of them considers himself to be extremely lucky. Hermes will never not feel grateful to have found someone who loves him so deeply and makes him feel like he belongs, and Loki still feels honored that he managed to win the heart of who he truly thinks is the most beautiful cat in the junkyard.
